Welcome back for another episode of Reality Life with Kate Casey.

Now, if you've been listening for a long time, you know that I've done so many episodes on Nexium.

Well, today's episode is about one of Nexium's most known members, Alison Mack.

It began with a promise, empowerment, confidence, success.

Nexium presented itself as a self-help organization for people who wanted to better their lives.

But beneath a glossy veneer of personal growth seminars and leadership training was something

far more sinister.

At the center of it all was Keith Reneery, a man who called himself a visionary.

His followers called him Vanguard, but in reality he was a manipulator, running what would

later be exposed as a dangerous cult.

And one of his most loyal lieutenants was Allison Mack. The actress once celebrated

for playing a hero's best friend on Smallville. Within nexium, Allison helped create a secret inner

circle called DOS, short for a Latin phrase meaning master over slave women. Members were branded

with Ranieri's initials.

They were required to hand over collateral,

explicit photos, financial records, or damaging secrets

that could be used to control them if they disobeyed.

Under the guise of empowerment,

women were manipulated into sexual servitude and silence,

and Allison Mack wasn't just a participant.
