I remember very well in 1970s when watergate hearings were underway, and Americans became

familiar with figures like Howard Baker and Sam Irvin, the Senators who led that investigation,

even Fred Thompson, who was a young staff lawyer.

Adam Schiff is a name that is becoming more and more familiar to Americans.

As the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, he's become a central figure

in the probe of Russia's interference in our election and possible collusion between

the Trump campaign and the Russians in that pursuit.

But he's also a leading spokesman in the Congress on national security issues writ large.

Congressman Schiff came by the Institute of Politics the other day and we had a chance to sit

down and talk about his life, his career, and this very interesting probe that shows no

signs of letting up.
