Welcome back to a very special episode, and I know I always say that, but this is an especially special, merry, joyful episode because it is the Christmas spectacular and what makes it the Christmas spectacular.

I don't know, just that I've done it every year

around Christmas and it's spectacular. And I will say now that I've like lived in this home for over a year

and we have a dedicated podcast studio in-house, it's also really special that Courtney just knows.

Like she knows the deal. Producer Courtney was like, we sat in front of your tree. And I was like,

hell yes, sister. And I really struggled with decorating the house this year. One, because,

okay, well, let me break this down. Last year, as you guys know, I recorded the episode,

actually while my in-laws were here, which literally made me want to kill myself. Because I don't

know why is it so embarrassing to record a podcast by yourself. Like they know this is my job. They know that they're so proud of me and make a living.

But the idea that they could like hear me just like, baby, blah, blah, blah, talk to myself in this

microphone like I wanted to die. Anyways, I decorated the house. Well, first of all, it was our first

Christmas in our home. And on top of that, we also hosted both of our families, like his whole family,

my whole family. When I tell you, I could have taken out a small mortgage on the amount that I

spent on Christmas decorations for last year. It was so motherfucking stupid, y'all.

Like, first things first that I can't recommend less, that was buying real garland. Now, the house smelled

amazing. It smelled amazing. The house looked gorgeous. Like I had it draped everywhere. I was,

I could not figure out how to put garland on the, on the house because our house made out of brick.

Like, how the fuck people put stuff up brick? I don't know. But anyways, it was just like so gorgeous. It was the messiest shit you've ever, you've ever

witnessed in your life. Like you could fucking just look at the garland and pine needles would just fall

everywhere. It was, it was horrible. It was horrible, but it was so beautiful. Anyways,

what happens to garland as it dies because it's already dead when it's cut? It literally
