guest and author and activist you know where you her, Julia Song, thank you for coming in.

Thank you for having me. Absolutely. So I think you have a really interesting story. I don't want to spend a

ton of time because I know people get sick of going over their history but having come over from Brazil in what was it now 2014 15 something like that.

I know that your mom was an attorney for the opposition to the Socialist Party

and it seems to have really left an indelible mark

on your character, giving you kind of a passion for freedom that is pretty rare and pretty exemplary.

Is that, is that, is it all about that?

Because you seem to have a level of understanding

about Austrian economics and things like that

that is pretty rare.

So I'm just curious, like, was it just upbringing,

education, was it experience?

What led you down this path?

Okay so that's a lot to unpack it is let's let's go with okay so let's go with the economics because it's one of the things that kind of like

caught my attention so because to just go over over real quick my mother was an attorney for the conservative party. She wasn't necessarily political, but over there, you know, the, it is like a touristy town, so there's no big industries or anything.

So you either work for tourism nor you work for the government. So she found, she wasn't necessarily an activist or anything. She basically just found employment working for the Conservative Party as a lawyer.

And when the socialists took over and they basically persecuted anybody who was part of the previous administration and because of that we went through you know several years of like homelessness and dealing with a lot of issues.
