Before we get to today's episode of Potterless,

I wanted to talk about a podcast movement called

Tripod, Tripod with a Y.

The idea behind it is that basically,

you find a family member, a friend, a loved one

who doesn't listen to podcasts,

and try to motivate them to give it a shot.

You could pitch it as a free alternative to Audible,

which I will fully support,

unless Audible decides to sponsor this podcast.

But basically, if you think of something

that someone would like, whether it's something

very popular, like cereal or a new thing,

like Pod Save America or a sports podcast,

go and tell someone that you think

would like it to give it a shot,

and then they'll maybe get involved

in the podcast community.

If you want to tell someone about Potterless,

that's great, and if not, no big deal.
