0:26.0 | 327 peers voted in favour of my amendment 73 for serial domestic abusers and stalkers to be proactively identified, assessed and managed by police prison and probation services and for a perpetrator strategy focusing on male violence. |

0:50.0 | So I firstly want to pay tribute to Baroness Royal and all who spoke out about why this is so important including Baroness Brinton, Lord Hunt, Lord Russell and Baroness Burton. |
1:01.0 | And I want to thank all the survivors and families who have bravely shared their stories over the years including John Klaaf, Zoe Dromfield, Rachel Williams, Georgia Gabriel Hooper, Charlotte Near, Gemma H. Senn and Celia Peachie. |

1:35.0 | A real roller coaster of some highs but also many lows. This is my longest campaign yet of seven other successful law reforms. |

1:50.0 | Violence and abuse begins in the home. It is domestic terrorism. |
1:55.0 | And I know that this will create cultural change that is desperately needed. |
2:00.0 | It will mean a you must approach to joining up perpetrators histories and intelligence and information that will be shared. |
2:07.0 | It will mean that domestic abuse and stalking are taken seriously and there's a focus on the perpetrators for the first time. |
2:14.0 | It will mean rather than asking why doesn't she leave? Why did she do X? Why did she do Y? Why was she out at 9.30pm? |
2:23.0 | That we focus on him and we ask how do we stop him? |
2:28.0 | And it will act as a deterrent for some as they won't want to go on that register. |
2:33.0 | This really will be a game changer. |
2:36.0 | And as of today for I did the 19th of March, I'm hearing that the government are going to act and will invest in a super duper database, which would be amazing as an agile digital platform is exactly what's needed. |
2:50.0 | I want all agencies to be able to use it and access it and share timely information about perpetrators. |
