Summary

Trigger Warning: In Kerri’s story, there are explicit conversations about rape and sexual abuse involving the LGBTQ+ community. Kerri’s story starts at 29:21

Donna covers the Bennington Triangle, an area of southwestern Vermont where strange things keep happening. The Triangle features a ghost town with a monster in the woods. And an area where people keep going missing without a trace, and seemingly with no explanation.

Kerri then covers the rape and murder of Brandon Teena. This story was the subject of the 1999 film Boys Don’t Cry. Brandon, along with two others were murdered in Nebraska in December 1993. Brandon’s murder, along with others led to increased lobbying for hate crime laws in the US.
