Summary

Duck Commander Sunday returns with thousands gathering to honor Phil, world-class worship, and hundreds baptized in the parking lot. Jase preached through tears, then sprinted off to his tee time, while the family celebrated Phil’s lasting legacy. Al and Zach are shocked that Jase finally watched his first episode of Unashamed and was impressed enough to dig deeper into John’s message. The guys explore how the Spirit testifies through us, why resurrection courage overcomes fear, and what it means to live life on a mission. 0:26.7

Well, tell them if people are just stumbling about through the earth and they don't know what you're talking about.

0:31.6

So they planned, which, ow, I'm just going to confess, I wasn't real sure what we were doing, but I was asked to speak.

0:40.8

Yep.

0:42.4

It was, well, revival seems to be the word around here now.

0:45.6

So it was a revival of Duk Commander Sunday, which is what we did years ago, probably 25 years ago.

0:52.5

But we used to do it in church buildings.

0:53.9

At our church, right, because it was an outreach day. At our building. At our building. We invited people to come, wear a camo. We would, most of, some of us would speak, dad. Yeah, I remember me and dad did a couple of combos. I was working for the church then. So it was my idea to have an outreach day. And we had fun with it. It was great. I mean, a lot of people were led to the Lord. So Bella wanted to revive it, which I thought was really cool. So Bella's Willie's daughter, who's now married, and she works at Duck Commander. She does, and kind of does promotional stuff for him. But I do think, I've said this before, she's part of the grandkids that I felt like, you know,

1:34.8

the last year of Phil's life on the earth, they were really inspired.

1:40.2

He really connected with all the grandkids.

1:44.0

So I think her organizing it was part of that legacy being passed.

1:48.5

Well, and the theme for it this year was honor and dad because, you know, the Duck Commander, this was the year he crossed over.

1:56.3

And so I didn't know how many people were going to come, but there were thousands of people here.

2:01.9

I don't know what the number is, but it was this from this building to the road.

2:06.8

It was a lot of people.

2:08.4

And it was fantastic.

2:09.9

People walked.
