Hey, thanks a lot, Tom. I appreciate you having me on. You know, I don't do a whole lot of political

stuff on the show, but once in a while, there's an episode that's just crying out to be made.

And I heard those cries, and I said, doggone it, we're doing this episode. So let's start off with your background.

Who is Joshua Smith? Yeah, absolutely. So, you know, I served in the United States Navy.

I think I got out sometime around 2005. And, you know, I really saw the wasteful spending and the loss of

innocent human lives. And at the time, I didn't know what libertarianism was. I didn't know about non-inventionism.

I didn't know about the non-aggression principle. But I knew that I didn't like that. And it really

opened my mind to this kind of anti-state movement. And then I got really into Ron Paul.

And I campaigned behind Ron Paul in 2008 because he was speaking the way that I felt. You know,
