Instagram is gearing up to go teen-friendly, and I'm positive that will end really, really well. Like, what could possibly go wrong with that one? But we're going to start by doing the left's begrudged credit to Donald Trump. What a few days it's been. It kind of said, hey, would they ever say anything positive about Donald Trump? Well, let me get you into this a little bit. First of all, we have the updates on where we are in this whole process with Israel. Next steps for Israel and Gaza, unclear after hostage and detainee release. It's interesting because we've gone over these steps over and over again, the 20-point proposal for peace in the Gaza Strip ending Israel-Hamas war. This is a story from weeks ago. And it's like if we don't, we don't have that. We should know at this point what the next steps are. I think we do know. So I don't think it's completely unclear. It is unclear what's going to actually happen. Like, is this ceasefire going to hold, for example? Polymarket has a poll or a market on this. Will the ceasefire be

1:13.9

canceled by October 31st? Halloween, only 8% chance of that, says the market. December 31st,

1:19.4

however, a 24% chance. I don't know. It feels like there's more than a 24% chance this thing dissolves

1:25.4

before the end of December. I like the optimism of

1:28.3

everybody. And I think it's a, regardless of whether it dissolves or not, the hostages are home.

1:34.3

So that's a big deal. But still, I don't know. Who knows at this point? Celebrating a hard one

1:39.6

ceasefire, Trump pushes for lasting harmony in the Middle East. And that is going to be difficult to maintain, but it's a laudable goal and one that, you know, look, we all thought it was going to be really difficult for even this much to happen. So thank God we do have that. And we're getting all the weird reactions from this. Like, you know, Joe Biden's kind of trying to glom onto this, being like, actually, we set the, we had the, we set the foundation for this a while ago.

Questionable, to say the least. Joe Biden and Netanyahu were offered Gaza deal a year ago,

2:10.0

says negotiator. Gershon Baskin, the architect of negotiations had freed an Israeli soldier in

2:16.3

2011, revealed on Thursday that Hamas had

2:19.1

agreed to the exact same terms of the deal in September 24 in the last months of the Biden

2:24.9

administration, but that Biden officials had disregarded it while Benjamin Netanyahu had refused

2:30.1

point blank. So you can look at this a couple of different ways. I mean, look, maybe Trump, you know, maybe the art of the deal. We did the art of the hostage deal yesterday. Maybe the art deal is there. And maybe he was able to get people to agree to things that they wouldn't normally agree to. That's one of the things I would say he believes is one of his strong points. And I think he's pretty much right on that. On the other hand, like, can you really blame Joe Biden?

2:52.0

Like, was he even aware this offer was made?

2:55.2

Like, he probably didn't even know what the day occurred, let alone an event on the day.

3:00.4

So you give Joe Biden a little bit of a break there.

3:03.9

See, look how kind we are to the other side.
