A personal chat for any stage or feelings on being or having a mother. A few days after Mother's Day and with some articles that came across my IG feed as of late, I’ve been pondering:
How we respond, trigger, idolize, yearn for and celebrate this complex topic that applies to every single one of us.
First, the Elegant Excellence Goals Journal Summer Collection is here! With a very limited restock, get yours today!

Remember to follow wisely, slow, limiting your follows to under 200-300. You can gain what you need from someone in an hour of taking in their content without needing to see it daily. You can follow someone then realize only 5% applies to you + unfollow. You can follow then realize for some reason they’re increasing your anxiety or resentment + unfollow. Some accounts talk on the topic often, others may have a blog post or podcast episode on it specifically.
Also the shower speaker for extra entertainment in your every day. (wink)

2:21.5 | So my past I have a good relationship with my mother and my mother is still living. So I am not at the place of grieving a mother or at grieving a strained relationship with a mother. |
2:35.5 | I have never been pregnant or tried to get pregnant. So I don't have any miscarriages or abortions in my past or natural infertility challenges. |

3:01.5 | I think that as a couple now, you know, truly knowing who my life partner is and having gotten married a couple years ago, we are more likely, yes, but it's still something that we very much are like this is a huge undertaking. |
3:14.5 | It's a hard we sure that we want to embark down this road and we're still a few years away from that. So we're not right. |
3:22.5 | We are not presently trying to conceive or under the pressure of making this decision. So it allows me to feel like I'm kind of able to stand at the center of this big circle of women who all have so many different experiences. |
3:41.5 | From their past with their own mothers as a as perhaps a mother yourself of a younger, you know, an older mother of now and adult child or even watching your own child now go through infertility or pregnancy or motherhood or adoption or all of the things. |
