Hi gang, it's me, Dr. Steve. Normally, I introduce myself as your patron professor here to help you to think better so you can feel better.

But unfortunately, for today's video, while I'll certainly try to help you think better, there's simply no way I can deal with the subject matter and walk away feeling better.

As many of you know, one of the most prolific Russian philosophers in geopolitical theorists today is a man by the name of Alexander Dougan.

I've studied Dougan's work now for a number of years, particularly his development of what's called the fourth political theory.

It's fascinating whether you agree with it or not, but what it does is it outlines an alternative world political order to the three major modern political experiments of the 20th century, namely Western liberalism, Soviet communism,

and Nazi fascism. Regardless of whether or not what agrees with the work, it is extraordinary.

It clearly demonstrates Dougan's astonishing synthesis of a number of fields of studies such as cultural anthropology, political theory, ethno, sociology, history, philosophy, theology, you name it.

Again, he's a top-notch scholar whose work has gained notoriety among academics all around the world.

Over the weekend, Dougan and his daughter Daria, who's a fine scholar in her own right, were attending a traditionalist festival outside of Moscow.

Dougan and his daughter were going to return home in his car, but at the last minute he decided to go back and someone else's car.

And then suddenly at approximately 9.30 pm, to everyone's horror, the car Daria was driving and exploded, killing her instantly.

She was just 30 years old with a very promising career in broadcast it.

Video quickly surfaced of a shocked and distraught Dougan, arriving at the scene of his daughter's murder and Russian investigators quickly identified the cause of the explosion.

As a car bomb, deliberately placed underneath the driver's seat clearly intended for Dougan himself.

Now, for Russians and for particularly the conservative Russian world of which Dougan is perhaps the most prominent scholar, the murder was a monstrous outrage to say the least.

While no one has claimed responsibility and while Ukrainian officials have publicly distanced themselves from the assassination, the blame of course among Russian authorities is being leveled squarely at Ukraine and Ukrainian sympathosers.

Obviously, the concern now is that given that Russian civilians are being targeted for murder within Russia, in this case just outside of Moscow, the concern is that this will serve as a flashpoint that represents Russia.

However, as your Patriot professor, I have to say that I think a very ominous turn has already happened and that turn involves the utterly morally reprehensible coverage of this horrific event by the Western media.
