I know if you're a regular to this channel, you know that comes across as a bit odd since we are a course in curable optimists when it comes to the rise of a new conservative age, but I've always said while I have no doubt of ultimate victory all around the world, not just here, the question is always how much damage is the permanent political class going to inflict on us in the meantime.

And we need to prep for the worst and plan for the best. And that's where my wonderful guest today comes in Ted Johnson is a CEO of Ready Project, which specializes in survival and emergency food prep and storage.

I appreciate that, Dr. Steve. We, we, you know, our business is funny. I was going to say we're excited about what's going on, but you know, that's kind of an oxymoron, right?

It is. I know exactly what you mean, though. Yeah.

But in this, in this certain time and in this day and age, I'm going to tell you, we've been doing this for a long time.

Let me give you a brief history on myself and my passion for this, yeah, my passion for this space.

I always say, I got a lot of good friends and I always say, hey, I'm probably a pretty fun guy to hang around with.

But you've got to be really careful when you hang out with me because I'm also kind of a disaster magnet.

So it goes back to 1991 and I was in the Big Bear earthquake in Southern California.

Fast forward that same year, I was on the north shore of a Wahoo when Hurricane Aniki hit.

A couple years later, I decided I was going to go visit my girlfriend back down to Southern California and the Northridge earthquake hit.

I was doing some business and I was up in the 60th story of the Empire State Building back in 2011 when the earthquake hit in Virginia.

I mean, you know, shook the whole building and yeah, you don't want to be 60 stories up when that happens.

That was scary. And move my family to Florida in 2016, just in time for 2017, Hurricane Irma hit and just in time for 2018, when a category five hurricane Michael hit.
