But we're going to start by doing mail-in madness. You know, I was thinking about this show the other day, this show, the one you're watching, the one you're listening to him. Why do I do it? Why do I show up here every day? They do pay me a salary, and that's a nice thing. I suppose I'd sleep through some of the shows without the salary. But generally speaking, why I'm here is because, I mean, one of the, there's a lot of

things, but one of the central reasons I'm here on a day-to-day basis is I want you to not

be the person at work who says the thing that everyone nails you on later. Oh, I make a big,

big, big flowery claim. And then someone says, actually what the truth is is this.

And I don't want you to be on the wrong side of that exchange.

I want you to be the annoying one who's saying actually the real truth is this.

That's basically the reason I show up on a day-to-day basis.

I keep picturing that scenario with you at work and whatever you're doing and someone comes up and says something to you and you say the thing that's true. And they argue with you and then you have the backup. Like that's really what motivates me on a day-to-day basis. I don't know if that's big enough. I mean, I'm under no impressions that I'm going to save the world and no impressions that I'm going to change the path of the country.

I'm just going to give you a good show, and hopefully you get to win some of those work moments. That's kind of why I'm here. So anyway, I hope that's why you're here, or at least partially why you're here. I appreciate you showing up on a day-to-day basis. It means a lot to me.
