you. We're gonna discuss something that I love oxymorons and when we say this phrase it'll seem to many people like a bit of an oxymoron

which is long-range muzzle loaders. Not something you think about every time you think

you think muzzle load time you think muzzle

loaders but that is the topic at hand we have an expert

across the table from us here and he's never been on the podcast

before so we're gonna to let him introduce himself.

Luke why don't you go ahead and tell the people who you are, where you're from, what you do, all that good stuff.

Sure, Luke Horock, Arrowhead Rifles, formerly Arrowhead Sporting Goods, but specialized in high performance muzzle

loaders.

Kind of got into it out of necessity growing up in Iowa.

Struggle with the slug guns for years and years and

Savage came out with a smokeless muzzle loader back in I think it was 2004 I want to say

and that was a really good step in the right direction you kind of had

to know how to baby them to get them to work but we found out that rebariling them to

a 45-cal you could increase the performance, stretch the distance, and there was a real need for rebarling

them.

The only supply source at that time had like a 16 week lead time so I saw an opportunity to get in there and stock the barrels and then just kind of turned it into a passion and now it's a full-time job.
