elephant drink water. What does that actually pertain to? What situation would you

find yourself in in a day-to-day setting where you'd say,

hey, well, you know, you can make an elephant drink water?

Zero situations, Jim.

I think actually, the correct one is,

you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink but I was just kind of and the

elephant just made its way in the elephant in the room he gets thirsty enough

he'll drink yeah it's carrying a straw around. So with that said, naturally speaking of elephants and horses and water, we're going to talk about low-power variable optics today.

And across the table for Mark and I, we have have Rob who has joined us in the past

from the engineering product development department and he is going to be able to

speak to some of the more nerdy details about these LP VOs as they are sometimes referred to and then we also have Adam Maxwell across the table and Adam is kind of embedded in on the practical application side of these optics in that you work

in our mill lEO department and you also shoot competitively quite often and have used a number of

LPVOs and so I know you mentioned a few interesting topics that we just could

discuss and one of the big ones so you know for those of you I guess we'll just do a real

quick refresh or if anybody not intimately familiar with these when we say low

power variable optic we're discussing any optic that essentially starts on one power, right?

So it's one two something.

There's one to fours, one to six, is one to eight,

it's yada, yada, yada, so on, so forth.

The idea is, I mean, how long have these kind of skills been around I guess?
