Hey friends, today's guest is Chad Price, lead vocalist for the Fort Collins, Colorado punk rock band, All.

Together we dive into the writing, recording, and inspiration behind the lead off track, Original Me, taken from their 1993 album, Breaking Things.

This was Chad's first release with All, and he stepped into some pretty big shoes to fill.

He was the band's third singer, replacing previous vocalist

Scott Reynolds and Dave Smalley, both punk rock legends in their own right.

Chad was a massive fan of all prior to joining and was amazed at the fact they wanted to play

the song he wrote and even more shocked when the band put it as the first track on the

album. Admittedly, Chattens remembered too much about initially writing the song, but does recall wanting it to have that all sound.

After all, he wrote it a full two years before joining the band.

The song was part of his previous band's repertoire but it wasn't until the rest of

all got their hands on it that it became the animal that it is. It was great

catching up with Chad and we had a ton of laughs. He's as humble as they come and one of the

best singers from both a technical standpoint and as far as raw talent goes

that I've ever come across. So sit back, relax, and let us take you back almost three decades. This is a good one.
