It's part of a 10-year project by National Geographic that sought to identify pockets around the world,

demographically confirmed, geographically defined where people live the longest.

It's people who live to be past the age of 100.

Well there's actually three measurements.

One is percentage of centenarians.

The second one is life expectancy and the third is something called lowest rate of middle age

for mortality. In other words they hit about an age 90 at the highest rate of chronic disease.

you like to live to be a hundred. A lot of people say no because I don't want to have dementia or

I don't want to be sick but you're specifically identifying areas where people live to a very high
