A great day, but a very fateful day, perhaps, for the White House. The White House and the white

flag. Is it a retreat? Is it a surrender? Or is it merely a reset? CNN is reporting that

President Donald Trump showed his first signs of retreat since surging

federal immigration agents in Minnesota late last year. That would be just a couple of weeks ago,

of course, replacing the leader of the crackdown on the ground and signaling a new willingness

to cooperate with the state's Democratic elected officials.

There's also a hard-hitting column in the Wall Street Journal by Tim Walls, the governor of Minnesota, which we will get to later in the program.

All of it seems to be signaling a new willingness to

cooperate with Democratic elected officials, including members of the Senate who were trying

hard to avoid another government shutdown. Yeah, that's still happening. All of this is centered

around the very dramatic departure of the top border

patrol official Gregory Bovino and some of his agents who are expected to leave Minneapolis

today and return to their respective sectors, going that according to three sources,

sidelining a key player, that would be Greg Bovino, in the Trump administration's

immigration crackdown.

The move comes after Trump announced he was dispatching White House borders are Tom Holman to Minneapolis in the wake of the

fatal shooting of U.S. citizen and internal care unit nurse at the VA, Alex Prattie.

The White House has said that Holman is expected to manage ice operations in the city.
