And I find indispensable for our country. Her name is Peggy

Noonan. She has been for all of the 21st century, a regular columnist for the Wall Street

Journal every week. Her declarations column has won the Pulitzer Prize for opinion writing.

She has also been a crucial speechwriter for President Ronald Reagan and for his successor,

President George Herbert Walker Bush. Her new book is a great Christmas or Hanukkah present, and it is called

A Certain Idea of America, and it compiles her columns for the last almost 25 years, last

quarter of a century. Peggy, congratulations on the book.

Americans have seen in this quarter century oh that's such a great question I

have to admit to you the the thought I've been sort of playing around with my

mind the past few weeks is actually the kind of thought

that is a little bit apart from your approach, which is it's just occurred to me.
