And another great day in this greatest nation on God's Green Earth, a great day for law enforcement, which has continued to do such a great and bang-up job in handling this United Healthcare CEO shooting.

They now have matched, it was just announced hours ago, the fingerprints of Luigi Mangione with some of the fingerprints that were found at the scene of the killing.

And fingerprints found of the scene of the assassination, which took place last week.

They do match the fingerprints of suspect Luigi Mangione, 26 years old. That's what law enforcement

officials have communicated to CNN. This makes the first positive forensic match tying

Mangione directly to the scene where Brian Thompson was gunned down just over a week ago outside of Midtown Manhattan Hotel.

Now, none of this is going to stop the crazies out there, the women who have sent communications to Mangione offering to marry him or just to have sex with him or basically just to throw themselves at his feet.

This is a very, very disturbing way to become a national hero to commit murder.

The developments come now as authorities dig into Mangione, who remains in custody in Pennsylvania.

He's at the Blair County Courthouse in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.

So it's not far from Maltoona, where he was arrested at McDonald's. In any event,

the authorities are digging into his background, who remains in custody, on gun-related charges

as he fights extradition to New York, where he's charged with murder. We will get to more on that.

There's also new news from Syria where the rebel fighters have destroyed one of the most

cherished landmarks in all of historic Syria, the tomb of the late President Hafez al-Assad, the father of the

current ousted dictator. They've also ransacked through the presidential palace, and it's
