And another great day, another great week in this greatest nation on God's

Green Earth. And what a beginning for this particular week with a flood of good news. There is

certainly good news regarding that terrible shooting in New York last week on Wednesday.

With the killing of Brian Thompson, who was the CEO of insurance giant United Healthcare,

they have apprehended a strong person of interest who seems very likely to have been the shooter they've identified him

and who he is and even have found out something at least according to some accounts about his

potential motives we will get to that we will also get to another judicial matter where Daniel Penny, the Marine Corps

veteran who was accused of improperly holding a subway rider, homeless person with an extensive

criminal record and an extensive record of disruption.

He held him in a chokehold for six minutes and the victim died. Daniel Penny acquitted.

Not guilty, he was found, according to the jury, on the various charges against him.

And there are some threats of some kind of disturbance that will follow, some kind of public vengeance by vigilantes.

I'm not all sure that's going to happen, and I am certainly sure that's a terrible, terrible idea.

Also, the great news, which is gigantic, which is from Syria.

And no one would have believed, as recently as Friday, that the governor, the dictator of Syria

for the last 25 years, his family, his father before him, Hafez al-Assad ran the country,

before Bashar al-Assad ran the country. They have killed literally

hundreds of thousands of their countrymen while accumulating Ferraris, Aston Martins, and other

special cars, which are now the property of the people of Damascus, who are celebrating a liberation.
