We had to cut the La War episode in half,

and not for the same reason that we had to cut the Bordeaux episode in half.

The problem with La War, which we outlined at the beginning, was that it's so big and there are so many different grapes and it's so unpredictable in so many ways that it makes it very challenging for somebody who's just trying to get a handle

on it to digest it all at once.

So we thought it would be better to do two shorter podcasts than do one full one just so that it wasn't overwhelming. I needed the time

to absorb some of it so I'm glad you did that. When I think of Luar I think that a

mistake somewhat has been made in the sense that I understand that it follows the river, but unlike a lot of the other regions, there aren't a lot of things to tie it together except on jus sombia and terrain which for the most part have a lot of

similarities right in the center of the luar but muscadee or penant, they don't really have anything in common with the rest of the war.

And the Central Vineyards are really a lot more like Burgundy and used to be part of Burgundy,

which we're going to talk about in this episode.

Couple things in this part of the law part due that we'll get to.
