I didn't have to hesitate to tell anyone I was going on a trip I didn't have to text back in two minutes I didn't have to call anyone before

bed I didn't have to give some lukewarm synopsis of my day I didn't have to stroke

anyone's ego rationalize anyone's jealousy, or manage anyone's insecurity.

I didn't have to do shit.

All I had to do was drink this wine, watch this sunset, and invite the breeze to dance, the wind

lightly kissing my neck and caressing my waist.
