order your books. Again, it's called Slanted. Today we're going to go through a list of statues and

monuments and landmarks either removed peacefully officially or

forcefully by protesters in the wake of the death of George Floyd. He's the black suspect who died during or after an encounter with a white police officer in Minneapolis. several police officers now ex-police officers involved in the attempt to arrest

George Floyd in Minneapolis, which ended with an officer's knee on Floyd's neck and Floyd's death, they're headed for trial.

But as you know, the incident has sparked a backlash, or at least has been seized upon by activists

to accomplish some longstanding social goals such as removal of monuments and statues and landmarks

that are said to be offensive to some.

Now I might mention that a poll by Scott Rasmussen in just the news, the daily

poll that he recently conducted showed that a strong majority of

voters opposed tearing down statues that honor George Washington, Thomas

Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln.

So solid majorities of voters oppose taking down those statues honoring the three former U.S.

presidents, but voters polled were evenly divided on the question of whether to take down statues honoring

Confederate leaders and soldiers.
