I should preface if you have not seen the teaser that Michael did, you have to go, what's the easiest way to find it?

0:27.2

You should stop this now.

0:28.8

It's 188 seconds of good time.

0:33.0

My YouTube channel is Tim Tim Fed, T-I-M-T-I-M-F-E-D, and it'll be that one.

0:38.1

Or if you had to type in, like, Star Wars, Force Awakens, George Lucas, it'll probably be the top result.

0:42.1

So where did you get the idea for your version of the teaser?

0:45.7

Right.

0:46.1

So, originally I was working on this dumb idea for the teaser where, um...

0:50.0

So we had that cross, that shot where there's the lightsaber, it comes out, pshu, and then the other two come out.

0:54.8

And so it's like this triple thing.

0:58.1

And then I thought it would be kind of funny and really stupid to just make that happen with every single thing in the trailer.

1:04.4

So I have, I could show you later, like I've got all these like after effects comps of basically John Boyega pops up.

1:10.0

And then his head sort of splits into two other

1:13.1

little heads that kind of come out of his ears and the same thing happens with uh Daisy Ridley's uh

1:18.4

her speeder bike that's flying and then two little speeder bikes come out the sides and that was sort of

1:22.6

the joke and then a millennium falcon and two little millennium falcons come out the side just to match

1:26.9

the lightsaber.

1:28.7

But I didn't think that was that funny. And then I just sort of left it and thought, I just went to a Star Wars thing. And then I think I was going somewhere on and I thought like, oh crap, that's a good idea. The George Lucas thing. You know, you look in interviews with George and they're like, why did you change the original films, George? and he says like, oh, well, in

1:44.0

in 1977 when I made the film,

1:45.8

we just didn't have access to technology
