Today we're going to take a little bit more of a singular look at just one strategy card.

We've been covering two per episode, but today's topic is so big, we just need to dedicate the whole day to it. And that topic is technology.

And today we're talking about technology.

And there's a lot of ways in which Twilight Imperium 4 has completely revamped the way that technology works.

Let's start with just the basics of what the strategy card says and does.

Technology is the seventh strategy card,

and it is you can research, if you are the primary ability,

you can research one technology,

and then you can spend six resources to research one more technology and then the

secondary is to spend one token from your strategy pool and four resources to research one technology

biggest thing to note is just they're making tech cheaper tech's cheaper tech keeps getting cheaper

in base game t i3 it was eight in TI3 expansion cards it was six

and now they're making it four so they just keep discounting the cost of tech they just really

really there's a weird focus of they clearly want people to get tech yes but at the same time though

it's command counters are in less supply.
