Friends, welcome to the Ransom Tarr podcast here in the week of January 14th, John Eldridge, with you,

to introduce a series that we are really compelled. I was going to say excited but that that doesn't quite do it

we are moved by the heart of God to bring back to you.

A couple of years ago, it was in May of 2017,

my son, Blaine and I did a four-part series on Envy and we did it because we live in a culture

That is so awash in envy we don't actually realize the harm it's doing

against us the harm that it is to the human soul to live in the environment so we just wanted to turn the lights on and expose it and name it so that we could navigate this world.

The world that we're living in right now is increasingly filled with hatred.

It's heartbreaking, but it's true. And I was just compelled that I think we need this series again and I know I know hang on if you

heard it you think oh yeah I remember that it was pretty good and I don't think I need a second dose hang on one of the

experiences that we have at our retreats is people will recapivating and then

they'll come to the captivating retreat and they'll go, oh my gosh, I can't believe how much more God had for me in that.

And even more so, a guy will come to While at Heart in 2010 and then he comes back to our while at Heart Boot Camp in 2019 and his

experiences wow you guys so much new material actually not so much new material

so much as God used it to speak in new ways and he is going to do that through this.

So I actually invite you to stay with us and come back into something that is almost going to fortress your heart in a world that's

growing pretty toxic with hatred and envy.

This isn't blaming, this isn't finger pointing,

this is just exposing what it is

and how it's operating and how we can be free in a world that's awash in this.
