But residents have had enough. They're tired of feeling threatened every time they leave the house or not being able to walk down their own streets with a wallet or a purse. Even the NAACP in Oakland, California, is saying this has to stop. Sara is headed to Oakland to see just how bad it is there and what it will take to bring order and safety back to our cities.
District attorneys need to start enforcing laws, parents need to raise their kids to be respectable members of the community, and all of us need to demand much more from our local politicians.
