How you doing? Good thanks. It's John's first England game today. So that's exciting for us. We're going to talk about England with John. And also

we're going to talk about several other things, including France versus Poland. We'll talk a little

bit about Senegal. We will talk about England versus France, which is going to be the quarterfinal

playoff, I think happening next Friday. We're also going to talk about Chogu Sung, and we're going to talk about

Asim Venga, who said a few things that, oh dear, I didn't like. And also, we're going to

play points of bad at the end there. I think I am going to like that. Yeah? So it's a whole

sort of mixture of emotions for me, too many to be contained. But what about you, John? Have you had a pleasant day?

Yes. It's been good. Yeah? I have, yeah, I'm enjoying the slower pace of only two games a day.

I actually have because a couple of nights ago, we were talking about the difficulties and getting older so with that in mind i read alan shiro's great piece this morning

about the difficulties professional footballs um encounter when that happens to them when they start to

to lose their pace and the kind of their body starts to fail them a little bit do you read that because

it's great and obviously it's kind of um it's it's really refreshing hear a, a player talk firsthand about what that's like. You don't

generally get ex-footblers or current footballers exposing themselves and being sort of so

exposing themselves. That sounds weird. Thank goodness. You don't get a lot of that. Thank

goodness. You do not. But you don't get them talking so candidly about that kind of delicate stage of life when they're thinking about what happens after football. And gladly, they're not exposing themselves, though, which is just great. Because if they were in the TV office, you'd be taking photos and putting it online. That is something that I would do. It can't be trusted. We have to have all of our secret meetings.
