off the bench, the eighth player that Lee Carsley has given a debut to, to score his first goal.

We've got Ian Dennis, Matt Upson and Clinton Morrison, all with us here in the commentary box. Correspondent John Murray is just on his way to the tunnel now to get us some live

reaction. Ian, let's start with this. England have been promoted. What a sentence. Well, yeah. The other good

thing is, is that not only do they get promoted back to the elite level in terms of the Nations League,

but should

things go awry in the world cup qualifying campaign it means that then as a group winner uh you've then

got a second opportunity as a almost as a backup regarding the world cup qualification so that was

the significance of finishing top of the group um obviously frustrating first half but, but moment of quality from Harry Kane unlocked the Irish

defence and then it quickly unraveled, didn't it, for Ireland with scales being sent off and

England scoring three goals in the space of six minutes and then you had those first goals.
