He skied it and England's biggest opportunity

disappeared.

But what happens now?

The inquest will begin. Is this the end of the road for Garris Southgate?

Has he shown enough in this tournament to allow him more time to lead this England side.

So many questions and that long wait for World Cup glory goes on.

It'll be 60 years by the time England get to the next World Cup in 2026. France meanwhile,

wow, they've done it again. All their big players missing, but they just had enough quality in the end and they are still

on course to win back-to-back World Cups for the first time in their history.

Morocco, the surprise package of this tournament, await for them in the

semifinals. England though, they pack their bags, they will head home and it is the despair

of Harry Kane that will be the image of this World Cup exit.

So cruel, so unfair on a man who has scored so many goals for England.
