Folks, we heard from a number of you that you really, when I sort of said off-hand to Jason,

oh maybe we should cover mid-streamer earnings. A lot of people wrote in and said yes, please.

So we are here and we are excited to talk about it. But first, for those who need a refresher, let's talk about what a midstreamer is.

Jason? Yeah, so the oil and gas industry is

production, production, exploration and production,

and then you have to move the products

and then you refine the product and then you sell it.

And midstream is kind of a combination of the stuff that happens in the middle.

It's the companies that gather the oil and natural gas and the natural gas liquids and then they stick it in pipelines and they move it to wherever it's going to go

They generally also operate the storage facilities where it sits in storage

Before it then gets sent to the refiner to get refined

or before the refined product then goes to the pump at the gas station where you

eventually consume the product. So the midstreamers are the ones in the middle.
