Summary

Merry (belated) Christmas and welcome to "dead week"—that weird, quiet stretch between Christmas and New Year when nobody knows what day it is… and honestly, it's kind of wonderful. This is the final Friday of the year, which means we're wrapping up the Ending Well series—seven weeks of looking back at 2025, redeeming the hard parts, and hunting down the goodness God planted along the way.

Today's episode is where everything comes together.

Not as separate lessons—hearing God, going a different way, pruning, embracing the ordinary, releasing usefulness, becoming the wife and woman I want to be—but as integration: when revelation becomes rhythm. When what God taught you doesn't just live in a journal… it starts living in your nervous system, your choices, your peace, and your presence.

We talk about what it means to become the same person everywhere—at home, at work, in conflict, in rest. Not the performing self, people-pleasing self, or defensive self—but the authentic self God created. The shift from constantly feeling "split" to finally feeling rooted. From Romans 7 ("why do I keep doing what I hate?") to Psalm 1—steady, nourished, bearing fruit in season.

This episode is a testimony: God is big enough to change you. To grow self-control. To cultivate peace. To help you stop showing up to every battle you're invited to—and still keep your courage when it's time to stand firm. The fire of 2025 didn't leave me untouched, but it refined me. And the fruit is showing up: steadier peace, clearer discernment, deeper roots, anchored hope, and—maybe for the first time—actually liking who I'm becoming.

If you feel stuck, scattered, or like you'll never change… come with me. The water's a little scary, but it's good.

Hello, welcome back. Merry belated Christmas. I hope you've had a lovely week. We're heading into Dead Week. I love Dead Week personally. This is what we call the week between Christmas and New Year. I guess we're actually

0:21.6

like halfway through it, right? Where like nobody knows what to do or what day it is or where

0:27.8

they're supposed to be. Some people are working. Some people aren't. It's very disorienting. But I kind of

0:33.4

love it like for us. My husband goes to work a little bit, and we just kind of chill.

0:40.1

But today is the last Friday of the year, which means this is the last of the ending well series.

0:47.2

I have really enjoyed this. It has been therapeutic for me. It has been very redemptive, which was really the intention behind it, was kind of reclaiming

1:00.6

the year and hunting down and looking for and shining a spotlight on the good that was done

1:07.7

and it has been all about hearing God, going a different way, letting go of

1:14.1

usefulness, pruning, embracing the ordinary, kind of returning to yourself, getting my glow

1:23.4

back, becoming the wife and woman I want to be. It's all been a lot of looking back at

1:29.8

2025 and the gems and the goodness. And for this episode, I feel like this is where it kind

1:37.7

of all comes together, not as individual concepts or lessons, but as the life that I actually want to live in my body,

1:48.3

in my own skin. And this is where everything God has done stops being separate chapters

1:55.3

and becomes this whole woman and how she's walking forward. Right? Because we talked about all

2:00.7

these separate things, but

2:02.1

and again, it wasn't really very intentional, but I really touched on like every area of my life.

2:12.1

And now, like, I really love this idea of integration, integrating all of it and allowing all of it to

2:22.0

meld together to move us forward.

2:25.5

And so if you have either learned from what I've talked about or even just found solidarity

2:30.2

because you're in the midst of some of it or all of it.

2:36.5

I want us to move forward together.

2:43.4

I want us to step into it confidently and not tentatively and not worried that the other shoe is going to drop, but with confidence in who the Lord is and yes, also in who he has
