Summary

Sometimes, the supernatural doesn’t just lurk in the shadows—it throws things at you. That’s exactly what happened to a mother with a disability, living in a house where something unseen decided to make its presence known. From black masses in the bathroom to a plastic water bottle flying across the room and smacking her in the head, the haunting wasn’t playing nice anymore. After a month of unexplained activity, she’d had enough. With a bit of frustration and a lot of determination, she gave the ghost an ultimatum: leave, or else. What happened next might have been a little unconventional, but it worked—because since then, the house has been eerily calm

0:04.9	This is Carol Dowd from North Carolina, New York, calling again.
0:08.9	This is number six.
0:10.9	This happened actually before my husband, I experienced the sleep paralysis.
0:16.1	And I've kind of been waiting because, well, you'll see once I tell the story.
0:22.0	Anyways, first of all, a little bit about me.
0:25.9	I have a myotonic muscular dystrophy.
0:30.6	So I don't walk really well, and I don't walk fast or run, and I don't walk heavy.
0:35.8	I have to be very careful.
0:40.3	That's important. Then about my house, there's an entranceway to the hallway from the living room.
0:48.3	And if you go to the right, that's our bedroom, which has a closed door so the cats don't get in there.
0:55.0	And if you take a couple steps to your left, on the right hand side you'll see our pink
1:01.0	room, the doorway to the pink room.
1:03.0	And right past that is the door to the linen closet.
1:09.0	And then a few steps forward after that at the end of the hall is our bathroom.
1:14.8	So the one day I get up and got to use the bathroom.
1:19.8	So I look down the hallway and it seems like it doesn't look right because the door is open.
1:26.2	I'm like, this is really strange strange we don't have a window in
1:29.7	the bathroom but we do have a night light that's on all day all night and it didn't have the same
1:38.1	look so i was like that's really weird. So this happened a number of times over the next month or so.
