Summary

Worship is essential to a vibrant, thriving Christian life. In worship, much like thanksgiving, we are reminded of who our God is, and who we are. Worshipping Jesus grounds us in our identity because it reminds us whose we are and all that he has done on our behalf. Jesus is worthy of all our worship, and it’s my prayer today that you have a fresh encounter with him through this transformative avenue. Welcome to the First15 podcast.

1:14.4	created to receive the love of your Creator and in response give Him your heart. You
1:20.2	will never feel as whole as when your heart is connected to your Father's and you are
1:25.4	giving and receiving love and worship. Colossians 3, 14 through 17 says, above all else put
1:33.0	on love which binds everything together in perfect harmony and let the peace of Christ
1:38.6	rule in your hearts to which indeed you are called in one body. And be thankful that
1:44.9	the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom,
1:50.9	singing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
1:55.6	And whatever you do in Word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving
2:00.5	thanks to God the Father through Him. The Christian life is to be marked by heartfelt
2:06.2	genuine worship. Worship filled with God's presence and nearness and that responds to
2:11.7	a true encounter with the heart of God. If that type of worship is new to you, that's
2:17.7	okay. If the idea of encountering God and worship is new to you, there is joy and grace
