The film examines the plight of undocumented immigrants by focusing in on a pivotal week

in the life of Jose, a delivery man who works long hours six days a week trying to survive

and make it in America.

He spends his one day off buying for the top spot in the neighborhood soccer league.

When his boss demands that he work on the same day that his

team is scheduled to play in the championship finals, Jose is trapped between his demands as

team captain and the reality that his job may be the only avenue to getting his papers

and bringing his pregnant wife to the U.S. In addition to Enal Septimodia, Mr. McKay's

credits include the feature films Girls Town,
