Hey guys, this is Jason in Seattle.

So an empire when Luke and Vader are fighting

and Vader starts using the force to throw objects of Luke.

There's this small musical beat that evolves

from Vader's theme. It's this sort of three note,

da da da da. And I love that beat because it's just perfectly menacing and captures how

Vader's trying to go look into giving into anger and hate during that site.

And it's one of my favorite pieces of music in the whole series, even though it's really fast.

So I was really watching the preples for the first time since they came out.

I realized that John Williams actually uses an evolved version of that beat to create the entire

theme during the Anakin and Obie One fight in episode three, which is the point where Anakin does give

into his anger.

And the first hints of it actually show up in episode two when Anakin is driving to the

Sand People Village

to find his mother.

And then the full version is the background

for Anakin's final slide into the dark side,

which shows at least John Williams
