So I did an episode the other week about emotions. and I'm getting revisited again because you know my perspective

from a cognitive behavioral standpoint that emotions are things that really don't focus on.

We focus on changing thoughts, change behaviors, and emotions change the byproduct of it.

But as individuals, to say that emotions are not a central part of our universal collective

experience, positive and negative, good, bad,

right, wrong, and different, I think would be a complete misstatement. And it's one of the,

it's one of the things that brings people into therapy because, like I said before,

it's because something hurts. But it's sometimes it's not as linear as I'm depressed or my girlfriend broke up with me and I'm sad.

Or I got in a fight and I'm angry.
