These are going to be milestones that they're progressing toward throughout their lives.

And we were laughing a few minutes ago about that very phenomena that we're still working

on things in the end of the inferspective as adults.

We want to all be progressing toward these.

We know a lot of grownups who aren't moving toward these milestones.

And that's honestly a lot of why we wrote the book.

I mean, I think to have done this work as long as we have, we certainly are concerned

about kids we're seeing that aren't moving toward these, but even more concerned about

parents who are adults, 30, 40, 50 year olds who aren't moving toward these.

So how in the world can we offer something to kids that we don't have?

What we're seeing is, you know, you think about emotions on a 1 to 10 scale, and kids

today are just living in the tent.

They don't have that sense of being able to regulate themselves.

We have kids who are young as eight that will throw out.

I'm going to kill myself, boys and girls.

And because I'm counseling primarily girls, I have a conversation a lot with just because

you cry hard and can't breathe, doesn't mean you're having a panic attack.

None of us can breathe when we cry hard, but they're not worried anymore.

They have anxiety.
