Hey guys, coming up on the show today, Emily Austin, Emmy award-winning sports reporter, host, producer at Liberty University.

She's currently hosting their weekly Flames Central show.

She does work on the football side, the men's basketball side, produces features on the student athletes and coaches and staff there at Liberty University.

I love Liberty, love what they're about, and Emily's

there doing great work for them. She was last on this show in October of 2017, and it was a really

emotional show, lots of tears, as she was about a year removed from having been dismissed, a very

public forum with a video that went viral of her appearance on Barstool where she had

some insensitive remarks that were made. And she was dismissed. She got fired from her job

at Fox Sports, Florida. And she went through a lot. And she would speak and she would go to these

colleges and try to use her platform for some good and growing in her faith.

But then a lot took place.

And 2019 is a very poignant year that she'll share about hitting another rock bottom in her life.

And so this is going to take us through the journey of Emily Austin a little bit, who is now

married, and just gratitude and what that is to have her be able to achieve her dream as a broadcaster,

but in a different way, sometimes God does that for us. So Emily's got a great story. I think

you're going to like hearing an update from her and hearing her story and how she's doing on her
