Emily Austen is currently the host for Liberty University's weekly show "Flames Central" and serves as a sideline reporter for Liberty football and Liberty men's basketball on ESPN+.
Prior to arriving at Liberty, Austen worked with The Golf Channel, Boston Celtics and Fox Sports Florida.
Today on the podcast, we welcome back Emily Austen to the podcast after first appearing in 2017. She talks about surrendering her life to Jesus in 2019, the importance of owning our scars and how shame has become a great teacher for her.
