In this EMERGENCY edition of the Peristyle Podcast USCFootball.com's team of Ryan Abraham, Jack Smith, Connor Morrissette, Shotgun Spratling and Chris Trevino recorded their thoughts about USC's 48-20 loss at Notre Dame in the car on their drive back from South Bend to Chicago (at 2 in the morning).
The guys take turns giving their thoughts on what went wrong as the Trojans turned the ball over five times to the Fighting Irish's zero, allowed six sacks and 11 tackles for loss while only generating one TFL and no sacks and the backbreaker, giving up a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that put any chance of a late comeback out of reach.
They also discuss what head coach Lincoln Riley and quarterback Caleb Williams had to say after the disappointing loss, the only two players or coaches that spoke to the media after the game.
