Juan Soto is a New York Met agreeing to a 15-, $765 million contract. The Soto Chase, the Soto Saga. It has finally

come to an end. Connor Rogers here alongside my co-host. As always, Joe DeMayo. Joe, this was a huge buildup.

There was ups and downs.

There was peaks and valleys.

It started to feel like a real roller coaster over the last 24 hours.

But finally, we have clarity where Juan Soto, we think we'll be playing what we think will be the rest of his career.

Just your initial reaction right off the top when this

came through. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Just truly a monumental day for this franchise. And I think for

Mets fans, this is going to be one of the things you're going to remember where you were

when you saw the tweet

and everything come through that Juan Soto had agreed to a deal with the Mets.

And I sure will remember where I was.

And to your point, Connor, about the roller coaster of the last week, the last few days,

I have been generally very confident that I thought Juan Soto was going to end up with the Mets.

I used it from a, in my opinion, sheer logic standpoint.

Steve Cohen has the most money.

Juan Soto has Scott Boris.

He probably wants the most money.

I would be lying if I said I didn't have a little bit of pause today,

mid afternoon into the evening. I was like, this guy's just going to go back to the Yankees.
