And so Adam Hubert Davis named as Carolina's next head

basketball coach.

This is how we're going to approach this.

Adam and I will have a quick podcast today just some initial thoughts.

But Adam, big news, obviously, for the Tar Eels and I think in total probably the expected move if you have if you had to make the choice right when you heard that Roy Williams was was retiring I think probably

Hubert Davis's name was the first one that comes to your mind former player at

Carolina under Dean Smith,

coach with Coach Williams for nearly a decade,

played for a long time, more than a decade in the NBA,

and felt like someone that was positioned to take this step.

It's funny if you think back to when Coach Davis joined the staff,

remember how surprised everybody was.
