Hello everybody, it is a been stunning 24 hours or so with respect to Russia and Ukraine.

It's about 7am here on the East Coast.

I'm going to break down for everybody of what we know.

Here's the headline.

The head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Brickosin, is currently in control of at least some

part of the city of Rasa Vondon in Russia.

After launching what is apparently a military coup against Vladimir Putin and his leadership,

Rasa Vondon, we talked about it actually here before, huge logistical hub for the Russian

war in Ukraine.

Let's back up.

How did we get here to this genuinely stunning and crazy development?

So for Gozin, some of you probably will know him.

He was the Russian mercenary warrior head of the Wagner Group.

He actually took credit for the Russian victory in Bachmann.

He's been probably one of the most serious fighters that's currently in the conflict.

And he has always been a major and fierce critic of the chief of the Russian armed forces

and of the Russian defense minister.

His criticism has been lately been that the Wagner Group has not received enough ammunition

from the Russians.

Not enough support that the Russian military is just throwing troops into the meat grinder

without any concern for their welfare.

He has emerged as a major defender for Russian troop welfare inside of Ukraine.
