No, it's an honor to host to you, and I really, really love really love the fan of your work and I'd love to dive into that with specific questions I have, but if you could get a started, John, it would just walk down memory lane, you know, what got you into writing and going in this direction of your

career so the truth of it is there was never a moment where I I know a lot of

writers who will describe how I wanted to be a writer since I was six years

old or since I was a kid I knew I wanted to be a writer since I was six years old or since I was a kid I knew I wanted to be a writer.

That wasn't me. There was never a moment where I stood up and said, I want to be a writer.

It kind of just happened. The truth is I did a lot of different things. I have kind of pinballed in my life from career to career to career. I started out as a musician as a composer. I was an award-winning composer when I was a kid. When I was in junior high school, I dropped out of school
