I understand that if you give up five runs, you probably shouldn't win a game because that means you have a five ERA and a five ERA is terrible. But if you're the Yankees and you're supposed to have a potent offense, you should at least win some of those games that you give up five runs. And it seems like now if the opponent gets to three,

that means the Yankees have to get to four and they're not going to get to four.

No, they're not going to get to four. They're not going to get to four. They don't,

they're not getting anything with any runners on base. They just, they don't, they don't produce.

Michael Kay was talking about this on the broadcast yesterday. The three run home run just doesn't

happen anymore. It's harder in this game to do for many reasons. Dejuice. Well, you got to get on

base first. You have to get on base first. You have to have two people on base. Well, they do get on base. And Aaron Boone with the with the quote of the weekend when he was asked about all the double plays that this team is grounding into. And he says, well, you know, the better teams ground into double plays. And it's just for the context of the question, just an absolutely moronic statement by Aaron Boone, another moronic statement by Aaron Boone. I get what he's saying. He's saying that good teams put a lot of guys on base. And the more guys you put on base, the more double plays you're likely to ground into just because of opportunity. That is true. And when you look at the league leaders and ground into double plays, the Yankees are first by a couple, I think. But the Astros are also up there. But I pulled some stats. And you know what the key difference between the Yankees and the Astros is? Yes, the Astros do ground into a lot of double plays. But with Medan base, the Astros hit 275, 349, 459.

The Yankees are hitting 229, 322, 346.
