Welcome to the Journal. It is good to be back. It's been, gosh, it's been a few months now since we put out a new podcast, so thanks for listening. If this is your first time here, I wanted to tell you about our newsletter.

Our newsletter comes out once a month, which is kind of odd because most newsletters that you sign

up for, you know, they're daily or weekly and they end up in that.

That extra folder and Gmail that you never check and never open them.

This one's a little bit different.

It's once a month and it is what we call a newsletter for The Curious.

So we cover all kinds of crazy stuff gosh Japanese culture and art and

tech reviews and productivity hacks and new apps it's just packed full of good stuff and

it is my job to go throughout the month and read literally like

hundreds of different articles out there. Pair those down to just a handful of what

I consider to be the best of the best and put those in that newsletter.

So for longtime followers of mine, I want to say thank you for listening and you'll probably remember a

podcast series that I did called Foundation and this was done from 2012 to 2014 so

two years and we interviewed gosh, some 30 different entrepreneurs.

I had some great guests on the show, Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey and Tony Fidel and Kevin

Sistram from Instagram, just a bunch of great founders creating awesome stuff.

And we sat down and we did these really long format interviews that were shot on video.

And a lot of people really enjoy them but the number one

complaint that I received is that they tended to be a little bit long and they

weren't in audio format so people had to to watch the videos on their desktop and they were, you know, oftentimes an hour in length.
