This week Gaz & Jordan are joined by former Wolves, Brighton, Norwich, Blackburn Rovers & Shrewsbury winger...Elliott Bennett!Elliott sits down with the boys to discuss all things football from learning his trade on loan at Bury to scoring the winner against Tottenham in the Premier League.Elliott and the boys speak about his early days at Wolves coming through with his younger brother and why a loan move to Bury in League Two was one of the most important decisions of his career.The lads then chat about Elliott being bullied into leaving his boyhood club and moving to Brighton in a transfer that ended up kickstarting his career and working under Gus Poyet.Elliott then talks about how his move to Norwich came about thanks to a gentleman's agreement with Tony Bloom. Benno then looks back on his memories at Norwich including playing in the Premier League and also Super Car Fridays.The trio then jump forward to Elliott's time with Steve Cotterill and what lead to the two not speaking for 5 years before Elliott signed for Cotterill's Shrewsbury in an awkward encounter.They then chat about the decision to join Blackburn Rovers where Elliott became captain working under Owen Coyle who was miles off it, Bradley Dack's protein powder and why it ended on a slightly sour note.Finally they discuss Elliott's life after football including his very brief stint in non-league before turning his attention to property development.
