Greetings and welcome to a Friday edition of the shotgun start.

It is February 19th. Andy, how are we doing?

Brendan, I am doing great. It's Friday, another week.

Another week in the books, spring approaches. I'm excited. It's staying light out. I mean, the weather's brutal here. We're under an ice storm.

But, you know, it's just being lighter at like 536. It made me happy the other day when I realized it dawned on me.

Yeah, it's late till like 630 down here. It's like 85 and sunny today. Another day. Just another great day down here.

Roughen it. Roughen it down there. It'd be great if you didn't poke everybody else for, you know, saying their winner isn't hard enough.

You know, your winner is fake and then you flood. Flood to the shore. It's amazing to be. I had some, you know, Texans reaching out asking me if this is what real winters like.

I think it was endangered species on, uh, species on Twitter. He said, uh, does it make you say, fuck, why do I live here every day?

I go, yeah, that's what real enter is except you feel that way for four to five months. It's not like four days.

That's fake winners when you feel it for four or five days. But I hope everybody's doing well. It's just a disaster down there.

And Texas said, obviously, I think, uh, you know, us northerners are a little bit more equipped for real winter bout.

I've been following that like super closely since early in the week. Yeah, I mean, they don't build homes for zero degrees.

They don't build, they don't have like justifiably not prepared for that. So, you know, the roads and municipalities, the power company probably should be, but, um,

that's a whole other can of worms there. Yeah. Yeah. But anyways, I feel feeling for our friends and thinking of our friends in Texas. I have an apology.

I got to start with Paul. Yeah, just fairly pancake day has, you know, Catholic roots origins. It's a legit one. It's not like something that's made up legitimate, you know, that's a relative term. But legit compared to, I don't know, national like, you know, siblings day or national, whatever, talk. I don't know, whatever one pancake day has its origins in strove Tuesday, which I guess is the day before Ash Wednesday and everybody eats pancakes on Tuesday night.

So when I went off about these fake days, apparently this one is less fake. I didn't do it. I, I had Catholic Catholic school my whole life. I feel like you're bad, bad Catholic.
